The 15th Green
This couple came to me with a vision for a home that could handle everything—from quiet evenings watching the sunset to large family gatherings that spill from indoors to out. They'd fallen in love with a prominent site overlooking the 15th green at Cress Creek Country Club, with stunning south and west views they wanted to capture from nearly every room.
The design response was to create flowing, open spaces on the main level that take full advantage of those golf course and sunset views. A 30-foot tapered stair tower anchors the entry and defines the front elevation, leading visitors into an open great room, dining area, and kitchen with 12-foot coffered ceilings. The kitchen's focal point is a custom walnut banquette seating ten—perfect for the gatherings they love to host. A professional kitchen and butler's pantry ensure they're ready for any occasion. We extended their living space outdoors with a covered stone porch that includes a fireplace, outdoor kitchen, and motorized screens and shutters that respond to any weather. A sitting room and office at the rear share long, uninterrupted fairway views.
A home designed for how they live today and how they'll entertain for years to come.
